Michael A. Klaper, M.D. graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, and received post-graduate training in internal medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, and orthopedics at the University of British Columbia hospitals in Vancouver and obstetrics at the University of California, San Francisco. After working in Canada, Hawaii, New Zealand and Florida, his practice now focuses on healthy food and lifestyle choices to help people stay out of hospitals and off operating tables. He has served as nutrition advisor to NASA’s programs for space colonists on the Moon and Mars, on the Nutrition Task Force of the American Medical Students Association and was the Scientific Director of the environmental organization, EarthSave.
A long-time radio host and author, Dr. Klaper currently practices nutritionally-based medicine at True North Health Center in California. His talent for presenting complex medical topics in a simple, enjoyable format have made him a sought-after speaker at health conferences world-wide.
