Chef Aaron Ash

Aaron Ash, chef and owner of the popular Vancouver restaurant Gorilla Food, joined us to talk about his new book of the same name. Gorilla Food contains recipes from and inspired by his restaurant. True to his restaurant and book’s name Aaron is passionate about raw, organic vegan food. He and Dr. Don talked about his journey from working out of a home kitchen to opening his restaurant. They also talked about how he came to be a raw vegan and the importance of organic food for health and sustainability. Aaron also shared his plans to expand Gorilla Food to one day have its own permaculture center where they can grow their own organic, sustainable food.
